welcome to sajjanpur

Past few days has been quite relaxing! Periodicals over- means books will not raise its ugly head for the next 1 months. Minor project has also subdued for a week or two after its much hyped Ist evaluation ending in low profile- disappointing some of those who have made it an only affair after their placement. Everybody else is echoing the only question “any new movie?”, and I am no exception. That pursuit left me with “Welcome to sajjanpur ” of course with lots of statutory warning!

“Welcome to sajjanpur “start in a most rural background, tempting you to close it within minutes. I didn’t. Things happen every were, stories are made every second then why discriminate it on basis of background. Movie progress with most unassuming actors of bollywood- still tempting! Soon you will find it’s more like a theater drama pictured sequentially to form a movie- good enough to reconsider your temptation. The story which started as dull and boring laid down road for the most contemporary issues affecting millions. Unassuming actors soon become character. In the end it leaves you with various questions except why did you watch this movie.

The only complain you can have is why did he-Shyam benegal, left it without a commercial touch. I fell ideas and commerce gives way to business and He attempted a movie which can do much more than business.

A brave attempt!

COMEBACK saga

Sports are great! It fascinates, entertain and encourage. You may not have played it, but you follow it-You know all tricks and twists and can predict result as if it’s just a replay for you. It grows everyday! from individuals to team, from fans to media! It’s known for stretching its boundary everyday! It’s famous for celebrity status of sportsman, hefty packages, model girlfriends and the famous rumors that it creates.
Of late things have changed. Sport is and will be remembered for the COMEBACK saga!
What is history today will become sports best story tomorrow. Thanks to the new dimension of sports. Apart from the usual high profile drama it transcends Heroes. Roger federer is one such hero.
Fedrer was a story, more like a fairy tale, with 12 grand slam and more than 250 weeks of undisputed number one. He had accumulated enough to look beyond the materialistic approach of life. Money and reward may not inspire him anymore. You might argue no mortal needs to prove more than this. In fact he became a landmark which can inspire millions of sports person in their pursuit of fame and glory. He was standing in a position from where he can leave sweet memories for his fans and can make new promises to feature. This is what most have done in past! Modern sport is different. Modern sports not only create player, it give birth to Gladiators. Federer is a one such.

After having lost three successive Slam, his credibility was questioned! His fans were consoled. The time of perfect exit was speculated every now and then. One defeat and many rumors. Rumors grew and glory faded. But Federer moved rather crawled. What pushed him is debatable. What he did is modern sports. 13 grand slam and counting.
This year US open was not only the best slam for Federer but also the greatest for his fans. For it inspires everyone and reproves the age old definition of success as journey not a destination. In present era END is undefined because whereof one ends thereof he has to come back.

Lets RACE!!

Its been long time since i visited my dear blog! Its not because i was busy but the hang of blogging is yet to hit me.

As always i love watching movies during exams so as to keep me away from that pseudo intellectual state! This time during my periodical i watched this movie called RACE and thats when i got reminded of my dear blog!

Foreign location, designer outfit, sports car and horse racing makes up the latest release of Abbas Mustan “ RACE”. Saif Ali Khan got new role in the form of elder brother –who love his Younger sibling Akshaye Khanna and is passionate about horses-rich people do have these hobbies! Akshaye plays the same role of traitor since the release of HUMRAJ-still adds freshness to his character!

Saif and Bipasha Basu looked more like models than actor though Bipasha soon matched with her character . Katrina Kaif plays the role of saif’s secretary but as movie progresses her role keeps on changing . movie starts with four characters each doing their assigned job . Eventually they make pair to start conspiracy –as has been seen in his other movies. His Characters are like dependent variables trying to form equations so as to get there values. Like any of his movies , it has got the same equations only that this time the numbers are increased . its seems like the director is trying to exploit the same age old problem of brother conspiring against brother – girlfriend cheating boyfriend – wife betraying husband for the only thing in world called MONEY ,only that this time he has increased the level of distrust in his movie.

Movie also includes Anil Kapoor as the police inspector and Samerra reddy as his assistant. They did their best to lighten the burden of thriller through sex comedy - an attempt introduced recently!Apart from regular item number it also contain the most popular song of this season - much popular then the movie itself.

It might look great to those who are not familiar with his regular thrillers . if you are not good at reading thorough scenes then it may be the best thriller form this director. Also even if you are not sure you will enjoy predicting in between the scenes!

Acomplishing-Impossible!

"I came, I wished, It didn't Happened!"
"I came , I prayed, Its Working."
The power of blank, the strength of unknown, the limit of infinite is yet to unfold , still one has achieved impossible many a times.

some still find himself difficult to associate with this POWER, some accepted it with reluctance but there are those who have realized it and made life out of it!

I wonder what would have guided YuVi on the 5th ball -when he was up for 6 sixes,what thoughts did Zidane harbored when he decided to rode France again in 2006-after there early exit in 2002,what plans did Gangully had when he was facing the ist bal during his come back-to prove his worth.

Of course it was more than thoughts-Plans or anything, its the power of Prayer which sometimes mocked upon, sometimes laughed, but when realised it helped making footprints in sand-writing histories which inspired nations and mankind.

No superMan-No superPower for some lets say no God- It is the prayer which you worshiped when you where child and wanted everything to come your way! it is the prayer which you did minutes before your ist day at school- during your way to home when you where punished for the ist time and where asked to call your parents!- whenever you saw your mom worried and helpless- when you saw your ist love and wish to saw her forever! You prayed without knowing whats possible and whats not .You prayed because its was spontaneous-it was simply a gesture.Sometimes with a closed eyes and folded hands-some unknown humming - Which did worked most of the time, or at least made us work for those seemingly impossible things -which otherwise would have remain impossible.

And today also whenever i am down and out , i realized this POWER- and confess why did i forgot it!
